For how long has Headington been sadly lacking a good Italian, and now we have one. It's not fancy, but it is a nice friendly independent. We had pizzas, which were tasty, fresh and nicely presented. Prices are reasonable - about £7.00 each - and much nicer than the usual chain rubbish. We will be back. Oh, and it's definitely NOT persian, no matter what TripAdvisor say.

This local cafe is a treasure. The menu is not extensive, but what is offered is very nice homemade food with attention to detail. Always tastes good, friendly service, intimate setting, interesting changes of food offerings to give variety. Priced reasonably; never disappointing.

Cafe Noir do a great coffee and cake deal. There is a good selection of coffees (or tea) and some nice dessert/cakes for an afternoon snack.

We have had a meal in there twice and both times the food was lovely, fresh and tasty.

The service is always friendly and the staff don't breathe down your neck all the time trying to sell you more food.

Not the cheapest place to eat, but, this is a nice local place which is not part of a chain so you get great service, great food and a nice relaxed atmosphere.

In a great location if you need to be at the John Radcliffe hospital for any reason. You can walk through the grounds to get here. Varied menu at reasonable prices served by friendly waiters in cheerful surroundings. What more could you ask for?

Fabulous food especially the desserts, anyone with a sweet tooth should definitely give the creme brulee a go!! Tried the choc truffle yesterday with a cup of coffee, and it went down a treat. The crepes and pasta is also delicious.
