“Home from home”
Reviewed 1 January 2018 for a stay in December 2017

Our family of five stayed in this wonderful Victorian property in December and cannot fault it. The property owner Sue was a delight and so very welcoming, Sue went out of her way to help settle us in and to pass on advice on best places to eat, local walks etc etc. The house is full of character, warm, clean and very comfortable. Our children loved the quirky layout (actually we adults did to) Its in a perfect location and the village is beautiful and offers a choice of places to eat right on the doorstep. I could not fault any aspect of this property and if you prefer to cook at home then the kitchen has everything you will need. We hope to go back one day. Thanks Sue

We enjoyed our stay at Midsomer Cottage. On our arrival we were surprised with an excellent welcome pack. The cottage is managed well by a lovely lady next door.
The beds are comfortable,we all slept very well.
We loved being near Iffley lock and the walk into Oxford by the river.

“Lovely cottage”
Reviewed 22 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We spent 4 days of our Honeymoon here. As we had travelled by car, Midsomer Cottage was ideally located. A half hour walk along the river into central Oxford was great. Cottage was cleaned to a very high standard and the welcome hamper was lovely! Would definitely stay here again
