Walking through the gardens of Worcester is a real treat if you enjoy quiet walks through parks. Gorgeous campus gardens.

“Lawn envy”
Reviewed 2 July 2013

Would have to rate this just as highly as some of the more illustrious colleges.
Some wonderfully ancient buildings on the quad and the quality of grass - yes, the green with envy expression does apply to this particular frustrated lawnmowerman.
The outer gardens, water features and cricket pitch all looked stunning in the summer sunshine.
And it's free entry during the limited hours that it is open to the public.

“Wonderful Gardens & Architecture”
Reviewed 5 June 2013

I think that Worcester College is a hidden gem. This visit was particularly enjoyable as the wisteria was in bloom & the heady scent was everywhere. I wished I could photograph it. As you enter the college there's a beautiful spiral staircase, then you enter the Front Quad which is glorious. Through a wisteria clad archway you enter the gardens. This was my second visit & I will return every year to see the spectacular display of wisteria.

“Lovely stroll to a conference”
Reviewed 17 May 2013

I was part of a panel hosted by the Smith School for Enterprise and the Environment in the Ruskin Lane building. It's not every day Barthes is invoked when considering commodity finance, but perhaps the setting helped. I haven't been to the college since its 1984 Commen (bliss) and they have done a great job with the gardens. It is a glorious setting.
