We stayed here on the occasion of our son's wedding at Le Manoir aux quatre Saisons (3 miles away). We couldn't have asked for more. We had three bedrooms and a large kitchen/sitting area in the self contained property, set in lovely grounds. It couldn't have been more perfect for us. Sonja, the owner kindly let us go early so we could unwind after our 2 hour drive there and David (the groom, our son) had a lovely relaxing swim in the pool and got changed there. When we returned after the wedding with our daughter (bridesmaid) I think they thought a sex change had happened overnight!!!! Lovely breakfast. If you're in the area, do go - very reasonable prices, every possible comfort and total privacy. GREAT.

Room Tip: There are two rooms in the house and then a self contained property through the gardens with 2 doubl...

This has to be one of the best B&Bs we've ever stayed in. Obviously it's proximity to Oxford and to Le Manoir gives it a head start, but when you get such a terrific welcome from Sonja (and the dog), a lovely large room with up-to-date en-suite in the annex, and, possibly the most important, really comfortable beds, as well as a perfect, relaxed breakfast and a great chat with Sonja, you know you're on to a winner.

Stayed for one night prior to dining at Le Manoir (just 10 minutes away). Stayed in the annex which was bright, warm and extremely comfortable. Sonja really friendly and helpful. Breakfast taken in the main house was very good. So much more than a B&B would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing stay on the outskirts of Oxford.

A friend and I stayed for 1 night before going to Le Manior for a Cookery Course. We had thought we might be late arriving and Sonja had gone out of her way to make things easy for us. As it was we were in time to go out and eat locally. We both had lovely rooms with our own bathrooms in the main house. The rooms were very comfortable with tea and coffee facilities, a television and the bed extremely comfortable. I have paid a great deal more money for a rooms in hotels that were not nearly as nice. The bathroom was large and had a bath and shower. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were made extremely welcome by all the family members we met. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice which sadly we had to hold back on knowing what was in store for us during the day to come. I would highly recommend this B&B, Sonja sent us clear instructions of how to find her home and it was very close to the M40 and very convenient for us the next day.

Stayed just one night in Annex and enjoyed a warm welcome, spotless, comfortable, quiet and well equipped accommodation, generous and tasty breakfast and a swim in the open air pool despite it being early October. Really don't think it could have been better.

Room Tip: The Annex has self catering facilities with ample eating space and small 'lounge' area so yo...

Stayed here while going to Le Manoir.

The owners were very helpful and got us out of a bit of a pickle (due to our complete disorganisation) so I can’t fault them.

The annex was nice and quiet and spotless. Breakfast was good.
