My husband and I were visiting Oxford for 4 nights and chose to stay at Gables Guest House based on the great reviews it had received. We were not disappointed! The ensuite room with a queen bed was a nice size and quite well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfasts had a nice selection of fruits, yogurts, nuts, and juices and we were able to select a hot main dish as well. Gables was a ten minute ride from Oxford and the bus stop was just outside the guest house. I would suggest looking into the 24 hour pass. Sally was away for most of our stay but Laura was a perfect hostess in her absence, as well as a wonderful cook. I would highly recommend Gables!
