“Sip prosecco al fresco”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

Great service, and enchanting cheese plate, and a lovely pour of prosecco made this place a great spot to chase away the jet lag.

What a lovely place
Fantastic service
delectable wines and delicious food and meats cheeses yummy bread for a snack and it's in a great location at oxford castle..
Excellent coffee and sweets too !!
So happy it replaced boring crispy creme cafe !!!!
A must visit .....for any traveler
Highly recommended nice outside
On a sunny day it's hard to find a seat especially on the weekend
Inside is lovely atmosphere even thou it's tiny it's done very tastefully
We had meat platter cheese platter breads olives all delicious ranging from 2.95 per plate as a sharer to 16 .00 we had glasses of wine recommended by the waiter that were delicious ranging from 6.00 to 10.00 per glass good way to taste a variety !! As they specialise in different wines they will guide you through the different flavours
Allow a good 4 hours plus ... And don't bring the car ......
And for prosecco lovers..... fab Fridays afternoons ... One for the girls !!
Must visit !!

“Disappointing ”
Reviewed 1 June 2014 via mobile

Lovely location in the castle quarter, with nice outdoor seating area.

The food selection is more cold snacks than hot food, and was average at best - portions also a little stingy. "Served with sourdough bread" translates to 2 small slices, no butter, no oil.

Service was amateur and lethargic. "Would you like to order?" before we'd even see a menu. No energy or enthusiasm.

Espressos were awful - like hot dishwater. My home Nespresso machine makes 10x better. Took those back and refused to pay for them.

All in all - terribly disappointing. The location deserves so much more. Would not return.

“Brilliant Bar”
Reviewed 22 May 2014

Great wine selection and amazing variety of dishes given the restricted 'kitchen' space. Lovely to sit outside in the sunshine too.
