“A simply perfect haven in an ideal location for The Cotswold”
Reviewed 13 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Ros was just wonderful! Access was a breeze! The cottage was everything we had been promised and more. It's set in the very quiet village of Stonesfield, classically Cotswold. The view from our patio was beautiful, watching the sun set in the evening was lovely. Inside the cottage was stylishly furnished giving a warm welcoming feel. The Old Bakehouse is extremely well appointed, we wanted for nothing. My friend and I only wished we had booked for longer. We simply loved it!!!! Thanks so much Ros.

“Comfortable Accommodation and Great Location”
Reviewed 4 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Thank you Ros. We enjoyed our stay and the really nice thing about the accommodation is that it worked, you could live there. It's been well thought through with many nice touches. Well situated and off road parking.

“A beautiful location in a very special area”
Reviewed 8 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Lovely welcoming cream tea from our host Ros went down a treat on our arrival. Homemade jam no less!! Cottage was well equipped with all mod cons and very clean. The bed linens & towels were of the highest quality. Enjoyed lovely views out over the countryside from the cottage.

“Beautiful cottage-wonderful host”
Reviewed 10 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We stayed for one week with our 6 year old daughter and could not be happier with our booking. Ros is the ultimate hostess- attentive and friendly. Cream teas waiting for us on arrival was a lovely touch. The place is decorated beautifully and has a real homely feel to it. Ros clearly takes a great deal of pride in the property and in her customers' satisfaction.
A great base in such a wonderful location. Will not hesitate to book again when we are next visiting the area.

“A lovely little cottage, full of character and fitted out to a very high standard, with a warm and welcoming owner.”
Reviewed 22 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

We have just returned from a week at Stonesfield with our 2 small children (6 months and 2 years). The cottage is a little tricky to find (there is no street lighting in the village) and to get into the parking space but once in it is a fantastic property. Well kitted out, Roz the owner has clearly spent some money on doing things well, with a wood burning stove and and a bath that are both noteworthy. Roz is a great host, she lives next door to the property, and is friendly and helpful without intruding, and our daughter loved to go and visit her hens at the bottom of the garden! We would thoroughly recommend this cottage.

“Wonderful stay”
Reviewed 20 January 2015 for a stay in January 2015

We have just returned from a fabulous four day stay at the old bakehouse and neither of us wanted to leave. The bakehouse has been lovingly restored to an exceptionally high and thoughtful standard and is well equipped, so we spent many nights cooking and in front of the fire. Similarly Stonesfield is close enough to visit other villages and has a good pub so if eating out is preferred you will not be disappointed. The surrounding area is beautiful and we enjoyed many lovely muddy walks and the view of a snowy garden in the morning was magical. We absolutely loved our stay at the bakehouse and also meeting Ros and we cannot wait to return.
