The six of us had a great meal here.
We all enjoyed our meals the service was very good.
The atmosphere was Francophile relaxed.
The table was a little cramped for six, but hey ho a right elbow in the ribs is a sign of affection Graham. Thanks for punting.

Both lovers of French food so our only problem was narrowing down what to have. Chose escargot and moules to start, both delicious. Shared a cote de boeuf for main which would have easily have fed 4, beautiful meat cooked to perfection. Served with chips and watercress, the chips we hardly touched to make room for the beef. All washed down with a lovely bottle of Provence rose.
Service was great, quick and attentive but not over bearing.
The restaurant was very busy and it was only a week night so I would recommend booking.
Had some lovely cocktails at the Duke of Cumberland next door.
Would definitely return/recommend.

This place has a nice feel to it but found the Frenchness quite pretentious. I appreciate it is a French restaurant but would like to be spoken to in English! Seafood was good but expected more. Vegetarian dishes were very average.
Whole experience was rushed to get us out for the next setting!

First visit. Booked for a meal before a 19.30 theatre show. Cosy venue and a very warm welcome. Pierre Victoire is top notch for ambiance, food, service and value. Don't miss making a visit - this restaurant has got it all right!

We went for the two course 'theatre menu' which offered two courses + tea or coffee for just £11.50. My Chicken Liver Parfait with garlic bread and dressed salad was delicious and the duck quarter confit with a raspberry sauce - just amazing. Couldn't resist forcing down a dessert - wow! All presented beautifully and the service was spot on.

All in all one of the best meals out that we have enjoyed in a long, long time. When we next go back to Oxford - this will be the main reason why!!!
