My boyfriend and I stayed in the Marlborough Arms for 2 nights the weekend before Christmas to attend a wedding in Woodstock.
We had a warm reception from the owners and B&B was full of character and charm. We stayed in Room 7 and although the bathroom was a tad dated, and didn't have a shower, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was a good size.
Although not the cheapest option in the town, and not a "luxury" experience like the Feathers Hotel, I would say it's pretty good value. The two highlights for me were the breakfast (absolutely delicious full english) and how helpful the owners were. Nothing was too much trouble.More
