I was on a business trip to Oxford and was recommended to stay in the charming town of Woodstock. All the main hotels were fully booked but I'm rather glad as I found The Townhouse guest house which is right in the centre of the town and served by free on street parking outside.
Nice, comfortable room, beautifully cooked breakfast and all for £55. Highly recommended.

It was or 3rd B&B in 3 days and it was wonderful and charming (even the weather), why....? because is situated in Woodstock, a lovely English village like in a storybook, the nice comfortable rooms with a lot of nice cosy details: chocolate, potpourri etc. it made you feel at home. Jason was a true host with a lot of recommendations for pubs, restaurants etc. The Blenheim Palace really around the corner, parking at the front door!!! The breakfast was wonderful, freshly made coffee as much as you like, in a very nice breakfast area. Jason & Team, you do a wonderful job!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Very clean and comfortable room, helpful host and excellent breakfast. The town is a great location for Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds. We would love to return.

We stayed at this small hotel for two nights in September. As the name suggests it is a traditional townhouse situated in the High Street in the centre of the town.

The house was warm and very comfortable, clean and had many little extras (like sweets on the hall table and pot pourrie and diffusers dotted about). Our room at the top of the house was quite small, but very clean an comfortable with a good hospitality tray. We had a small, clean shower room and our window looked over the High Street.

The two young men who run the hotel could not be more welcoming or helpful - carried our heavy case up to our room and offered information about the locality. Breakfast is served in the conservatory room adjacent to the open plan kitchen (in good weather we understand this can be served in the garden). The breakfast menu was extensive and 'flexible'. We could have had a bacon/sausage sandwich instead of the traditiional breakfast if we so wished.

Lovely time - will hopefully return.

The Townhouse is a charming little B&B in the beautiful little town of Woodstock. As the name suggests, the property is an old townhouse dating back over 100 years. We had the charming 'Anne' room at the top of the house which met all our needs for our one night stay. All in all, a lovely little place in a wonderful location and excellent value for money.

We stayed here for a weekend and couldn't have been happier. The owners were so helpful and friendly and the breakfast was generous and made in front of us. We had a bit of an issue finding parking on the high street but there is a free car park just around the corner (just ask the owners). The Town House is a short walk from Blenheim Palace and is also near all the local restaurants and tea rooms. A lovely visit to woodstock all round!

We stayed here last Saturday night as a final stopover after travelling the West Country for a week. It was our 4th b&b and I can honestly say it was one of the best! Yes the communal areas were quite narrow and dark as a previous T/A has commented on but really, what do you expect from a Town House? It's in the name!

We stayed in the Henrietta room and found it lovely and airy with plenty of natural light. Yes it was on the small side but we were only there overnight so it didn't bother us. We would still have been happy with it had we been there for a whole weekend. The staff were very friendly especially Jason who was very happy to give us tips on what to do and the best places to eat out. The breakfast was excellent and I particularly liked that my coffee cup was always topped up when I needed it! The breakfast room was lovely and I can imagine it would be very pleasant in good weather to sit outside on their courtyard.

Well done Jason and your team - we will definitely be back!
