Stopped here for lunch after an energetic 7 mile walk. Food was very reasonably priced, the seafood platter was lovely. One of us had the mussels in a wine/cream sauce and I had the game terrine. All very tasty, good sized portions, and nicely presented. I had an excellent pint of Otter Bitter, from the Honiton, Devon, Otter Brewery, very tasty, and the Guiness was gorgeous.
Staff were friendly, big car park, they welcome walkers, just let them know beforehand about using their car park if you are driving to get there.
Open all day at weekends, but food only available until 2:30 at lunchtimes and then again from 6pm.
