Why anyone would stay in London than at this hotel amazes me. We paid £100 for a two night stay in a corner based 43m squared room via the website with breakfast.
The room was clean and the hotel has free wifi throughout. Breakfast was plentiful and the service was good.

I wouldn't object to paying double the price.

The staff were courteous. When eating in the bar on Saturday at 10pm the staff managed to find toast for my son and even turned Match of the Day on the Tv so he could watch it and we wouldn't have to move.

We managed a relaxing dip in the pool before going home.

Parking in Reading was £12 and the train including travel card was £38 with a railcard.

Upon arriving we were welcomed by friendly staff and checked in promptly. Our room was a family club room which could have been a bit larger but served a purpose well. We had a small issue with the fridge which led to us being moved rooms in a efficient manner by the duty manager.

The rooms are very nice, clean and spacious with good facilities. The bar area is quite impression once they turn off the bright spotlights in the evening. I had a great meal, the food was fantastic however it was quite pricey (minimum of around £15) so probably not ideal for a quick bite. I was woken up by two intermittent fire alarms however I don't think these were the hotel's fault (and I had to be up anyway!)
