We stayed here for one night on the way to see our extended family. It was very conveniently located just off the M4. We booked a suite for around £180. The rooms were great. We had a large bedroom plus a separate large lounge area - this was perfect for our toddler to run around in. Room service was reasonably priced and we had a lovely meal. We also had access to the 'Club Lounge' which meant wine and canopes in the evening and a good range of cereals and pastries in the morning. Staff were polite and always tried to be helpful. I did phone ahead and asked for a cot and high chair to be placed in the room for our arrival. This had not been done, which was annoying, but they did quickly rectify the situation.

After a quick dip in the pool, we left happy, contended and well rested!!

We booked a hen weekend package with included this hotel for an overnight stay. It was very easy to find and as there was no match on in the stadium next door the hotel was fairly quiet. I shared a twin room with my friend which was spacious and had a nice big window overlooking reception, this unfortunately did not open, but the rooms had air conditioning so it was not a major problem for us. Room was clean although our sink would not keep hold of water! We only got food in the morning as we were out in the evening. Breakfast was buffet style and was very tasty with a selection of cereals, cooked english breakfast or continental style or a bit of everything!! Reading city centre was a short cab drive (£10). We used the pool which was clean and warm although there was a lack of private changing areas in the changing rooms. Staff were very efficient and had no problems with us turing up with someone dressed as a monkey - in fact they even suggested a few photo opportunities such as our monkey checking us in!

We stayed here to watch Ipswich play Reading. This was the second time we had stayed here and, once again, we came away smiling. This a fantastic hotel. We had a club room for 5 of use including the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel for 106 gbp
Fantastic!

My room was an inside room. There was no notice of this when I booked the room. I was informed there was natural light but unlike many of the rooms overlooking the atrium my room overlooked a bar and had a wall directly outside the window preventing natural light

Booked an alarm call for 7 am on my first night, no alarm call booked fo rthe 2nd night bit I got a 7 am alarm call on both days.

Perfect location for watching games at the Madejski stadium - right next door.

Staff on reception were fine, entrance hall is modern, airy, with comfy seats if you are waiting for a cab etc.

Room was easy to find, and spacious. The room looked modern, pleasantly decorated.
Very comfy bed! Usual layout, selection of tea, coffee etc. Good options for lighting the room. Even though we faced the road, it was quiet. Room was spotless.

Breakfast in the morning was good, lots to choose from.
