The hotel was basic but very comfortable, clean and best of all quiet!
I had a good night's sleep and didn't hear a thing from any other room.
When my husband went down to ask for more coffee and milk as we'd ran out he was given more, nothing seemed too much trouble.
The check in procedure was quick and efficient and so was checking out- just a matter of handing over the card pass.
The people on reception were very pleasant and helpful!

Hotel receptionist very helpful on check in. Asked for a room at the back which overlooks the park and river, away from the noise, you wouldn't know there was a main road at the front, even with the window open all night. Toby Carvery is good value, don't have a starter the main course is very large. Nice walk along the river to Tilehurst, which isn't very nice, we just walked back. Nice bar over the bridge, 2 mins walk away, pricey, very relaxing. Just wish Premier would reduce the price of the breakfasts, good value if you have kids but to expensive otherwise. Over the bridge and follow the road round to the right you will find a Costa, about 10 mins walk.

Room Tip: Ask for room at back

Dear Guest,

I am thrilled to hear you had an enjoyable stay with us at Premier Inn Reading Caversham Bridge. I hope you managed to have a walk along the River Thames as it is lovely to walk along in the Sunny weather we have been having of late.

Both myself and the team look forward to welcoming you and your party to the hotel in the future.

I have to say what a friendly and welcoming hotel. The Premier Inn in Caversham has to be the best one we have stayed in.The rooms were spacious and pristine, the beds so comfy and the pillows were so soft.Had such a good night sleep.Ideal location as its on the outskirts of Reading and they even phoned for a loacl taxi to take us into the centre.
A very pleasant and happy experience. The staff were all super friendly too.

Pleasant location almost next to River Thames with easy acess to Thames Path. Good soundproofing.

About 15/20 min walk into Reading town centre but frequent buses not too far away in Caversham Road.

Stayed in a ground floor room where the water pressure at the hand basin tap was ridiculously high. Very difficult to control flow easily. water ended up going over me, floor, worktop & mirrors. Reception knew about the problem but to date the management did not appear to have got it fixed.

Dear Guest,

I am glad to hear that we met your usual high standard expectations. I am sorry about the water pressure, and this has been fixed in the rooms affected, and no longer as poswerful. If you wish to discuss this further, please feel free to speak to myself or my deputy manager, and we will happily discuss this. Any feedback you give us is much appreciated.

My partner surprised me with a weekend away to Reading for my birthday at the weekend and he chose the Premier Inn Caversham Bridge to stay at.

The staff were friendly, helpful, booked taxis for us when required, the rooms were clean and modern with flat screen tv's, fresh towels every day and the hotel was in a great location, just a 5 minute walk from the centre of town filled with great places to eat, drink and shop, not to mention the Toby Carvery across the car park great for a little bite to eat or a quick drink before heading in to the centre of town.

Our room over looked the Thames river, which was lovely watching people out rowing and ducks swimming. it was a nice morning stroll area.

Although we didn’t eat breakfast but it smelt gorgeous as we have made other arrangements.

I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a trouble free weekend away, I could have asked for anything more.

Room Tip: Great staff, great location, great weekend
