Stayed her on the 21/7, we had 3 top floor south facing rooms with no air conditioning and windows that only opened an inch, the temp in the room was 29.5c. It was like walking into a sauna, that smelt! Tried to get a move to their other property as travelling with a very elderly relative for a funeral, was told that we would lose money and would have to pay again BUT if we had a bad nights sleep could get a full refund! Eventually given 3 fans which moved hot air around. One of our party spent the night on wet towels in shower , I spent part of it outside in car park. The very unsympathetic and unhelpful night receptionist who when asked for jug of water said no drink tap water spent it in an air conditioned reception. The only saving grace and reason it didn't get all terrible was the breakfast and the waiter in the morning who could teach them all about customer service. Would not recommend this hotel as not only was it a horrific experience but the customer service was woefully lacking, try the Crown Plaza next door lovely view and air conditioning.
