I stayed here for one night for buisness, and I was plesently surprised. The price was very reasonable considering Reading was very £££, it was less than a 10 minute walk away from the train station and central to where I needed to be.
The reception was very small but nice, and the staff were very friendly. The interior needs a little updating but overall it wasn't too bad. The room was spacious with a comfy double bed, plenty of spare pillows, tea, coffee and biscuits, The bathroom was a good size with sachets of everything you need incase you forgot to pack something. The only downsides to the room was that it was like walking into an oven, I had to open the windows for a few hours and turn the radiators off myself to get the room cooled down! Yeah its by a main road, but that didn't bother me... Its what makes it central!!
I found the room here and service better than some of the 4* hotels I have stayed in, there was also free wifi !! It won't be everyones cup of tea, but for the price you pay I found it very goodMore
