I paid 50pounds for a double room. The room had everything that you required from a hotel room and the large toiletries are appreciated. However there was an annoying rattling noisy in the fan that was annoying when trying to sleep.

Slightly annoying point for me was that the receptionist never asked us on check out if we enjoyed our stay which I always think is a nice touch.

my sister and i stayed here from friday until sunday. we came to sheffield to visit my son who lives there. when we arrived the staff did not make us very welcome they did not greet us at all. they were not helpful infact not one of them spoke to us. the people staying there were more friendly. we were trying to use the lift the card was not working the deputy manager could see were having problems she did nothing. one of the customers helped us by using his card. we were very disappointed. there is such a thing as customer service which we did not get.

We needed to stay in Sheffield for 3 nights and we chose here after reading TA reviews, excellent choice. Very central location for most parts of the city, 10 minute walk to the railway station, friendly reception staff to welcome you in and the room we had, double bed and a single bed, very comfortable and spotlessly clean.Breakfast was as good as we've had anywhere, a vast amount of choice and good quality food nicely cooked. We didn't use the restaurant in the evenings but the menu had a nice range of meals. All of the staff that we met were very pleasant and seemed to take a pride in their hotel. We would certainly stay here again and would use a Jury's Inn elsewhere based on this experience.

Room Tip: We had a double and single standard room which was fine but you can upgrade if you want more space.

Well located for visiting any part of the city or either University. Very friendly reception staff which set the tone for my short stay. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with a good variety of items. Excellent value for money. I hope to repeat the experience next year

We stayed in Jurys Inn for a girls weekend in Sheffield - a city we knew well since we had lived here for 2 years. We selected Jurys Inn as it was a hotel which provided rooms for 3 adults, at a reasonable cost.

Jurys Inn is located a ten minute walk from the train station, close to Sheffield Hallam University. It is easy to walk into town, to the Devonshire Quarter, high street, Winter Gardens and Peace Gardens. There is a local Sainbury's close by which was great. It was easy to get around. Parking: there is a big NCP parking garage across the road, but there are also other car parks close by.

The hotel itself has modern decoration, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. The beds were comfortable, and as we were on the 9th floor, we had lovely views of the Sheffield hills. Bathroom was spacious and there was lots of hot water. Good tea/coffee and kettle in the room.

Overall, a good quality hotel but two areas that I felt they could improve:
- a small-ish towel each, but we could have done with a few extra towels
- WIFI is only available in the reception and bar, at a charge. If you buy a drink at the bar, then the WIFI is free. For the price you pay for the rooms, it would be good to have access to WIFI within the room.

I was very impressed with Jury's Inn, Sheffield. I stayed as part of a group on a business trip and from the moment we arrived we felt well looked after. The modern foyer was immaculate with plenty of staff on hand to welcome us. The check-in process itself was quick and the reception team were polite and gave us all the necessary info, giving clear directions to our bedrooms and service times for dinner and breakfast etc.
The room itself was pretty big, much bigger than expected with a walk in wet room rather than a traditional bathroom. It was immaculate, quiet and comfortable with all the usual fixtures/fittings you'd expect from a business orientated hotel. The only slightly annoying thing was my free hour of WiFI wouldn't work in my room only in the public areas!
The restaurant and bar were comfortably appointed and we decided to stay in for our meals, rather than venture into the city centre. We weren't disappointed - the dinner and breakfast portions were generous, the food looked appetising and was very tasty. It also represented excellent value for money. Service was timely and again we felt nothing was too much for the staff.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel in the future and would recommend it to others.

Rooms are fine, we had a good view over Sheffield.
The location is good close to the station and the city centre.
The big downside was that we kept getting woken up by the noise of the lift motor.
The breakfast buffet had a good selection, but the hot food felt like it had been out a bit long, hash browns shouldn't be chewy.
Costing a fair bit more than you'd normally pay for an Ibis or Travelodge, I was expecting something a bit more modern.
