Loved the visit with my partner. Volunteers on the farm were amazing and very eager to help you learn, and the alpacas are such endearing animals. Teddy, the alpaca we had the pleasure of walking with, was fantastic. Really recommend if you are in Sheffield, or visiting for the day like ourselves 😁

Teddy is a darling. Thank you for taking him for a walk and protecting him from the mountain lions.

Loved our time at Holly Hagg farm. The lady that ran our session was lovely, as were the two other volunteers that were helping out as well.

When we got there we were given Gordon and Trelauney, and the only minor negative was that they both didn’t want to be showered with strokes and fuss. Managed to sneak a few quick strokes in when they were busy eating food out of our hands but that was all. Some of the other alpacas looked more susceptible to a human touch.

I lost track of how long the actual walk was, but it wasn’t too strenuous with a couple of food stops for the alpacas. It was very entertaining seeing them throw themselves into the Holly bushes for a bit of a scratch.

Thank you for your review. Gordon and Trelawney are "traditional alpacas" in their attitudes to being cuddled, but they are very respectful and easy to walk. Glad you got some strokes.

We visited Holly Hagg as part of a day trip to Sheffield and just had the most amazing time. Claire and all the volunteers were amazing at introducing us to the animals, letting us learn about each of them and their personalities. We loved getting to meet all of the alpacas and Jefe the llama. We had the absolute pleasure of trekking with Teddy who was an absolute sweetheart for the walk. The experience is really well organised and a great way to spend a couple of hours.

Loved this experience and would be happy to come back again another time!

I got the opportunity to get trained as an alpaca trek guide this week. What a fantastic and rewarding experience! The volunteers and Claire were very friendly and knowledgeable, and I’ve learned a lot during these 2 days. The alpacas and llama are gorgeous and I was so excited to work with them before and during the walk. I’m looking forward to start my role as a trek guide and see more of these cuddly, beautiful creatures as well as the other animals in the farm 😊

We had a great time at Holly Hagg today. The farm was very well maintained. All the animals were well trained and clearly loved by the people there. The owner and volunteers were lovely and did a great job to facilitate the trek. We had Santiago as our companion and he was the cutest alpaca ever. Will definitely come back again ♡
