“Excellent wedding venue”
Reviewed 2 August 2012

Me and my husband got married here and I have ti say when searching for a venue, Mosborough Hall stood out a mile!! The seperate Chatsworth suit is beautiful with the stone walls and quirky little candle lit windows.
We had the best day and all our guests commented on how amazing a place it was.
The staff were fantastic and very organised, our day went without a hitch. I left everything up to them, it looked amazing, the staff were all very professional. We would like to say a special thank you to Jade our wedding planner who did an amazing job over the year of planning.
The honeymoon suit was beautiful, we even had some of our professional photos in there.
Breakfast - yummy!!
Overall a day we will never forget at the perfect venue x

Our recent 2 day stay included Chatsworth tickets. Hotel room was clean, large and comfortable. TV thoughtfully located and not an eyesore of an appendage as in many hotels. Bathroom a delight with its tall (I am 6'2") mirror and long shelf space.
Meals were excellent and staff all friendly and polite. We thoroughly recommend.
It may be trivia, but the satnav took us right into the hotel car park.

This Saturday was our wedding day @ Mosborough Hall. I couldn't have asked for a better venue, service, food, staff. It was the most perfect day. They gave us a team of staff to make sure our day went to plan. From the start of the day, to the the last guest leaving they made sure that everyone was well catered for. The food was brilliant! I would like to say a really big thank you to Jade Sill & Jack for making this day happen. Thank you all again.

We went to the hotel last Sunday to celebrate our parents 60 years of marriage, they didn't want a big party so we decided on close family and friends coming together for a Sunday afternoon tea.I arranged everything with the manager Helen and we arranged a champagne afternoon tea in the room behind the conservatory ,the afternoon was lovely,we arrived to a glass of champagne ,then later they served the afternoon tea.Although there was a wedding taking place this didn't change things and how lovely things were for us.
I would recomend this place for a special occasion ,or if you just want to go for a coffee or a glass of wine,we couldn't thank the staff enough for all there hard work.

We attended a comedy evening , which consisted of a two course meal, entertainment from three comedians and bed and beakfast for i night - total £99 for two people, which sounds very good value.

The main thing that let this evening down was the quality of the two course meal , a few green beans and carrots with 1 piece of potato and a small piece of chicken followed by a obviously mass produced chocolate torte left a lot to be desired , everyone was cramped in even though the room was big enought to take extra tables.

We cannot fault the room for cleanliness and fittings ,sound proofing could have been better but we were lucky that guests in adjoing rooms quickly settled at night , we would imagine the hotel to be noisy if events were taking place eg weddings

Breakfast . attentive staff and really good breakfast , infact the best thing about the stay altogether.

We would recommend this hotel for a stay but would not attend any more events if their mass catering efforts are of this standard

stayed here as a last minute weekend with my wife. Payed top prices £134 per night. Staff very poorly trained. Had a wedding party on both nights so resources were stretched. Food in the restaurant very pricy and the meal was dreadful. My steak was overcooked, the vegetarian dish was a pastry filled with cheese and inedible. The so called desert was an ice cream [sweet and disgusting) and sent back. £75 with one glass of wine was ridiculous The bedroom (204) was small stuffy and the window didn't have lock (sash) so being on the ground floor was unsafe. Went out for the day came back at 6:30 and the room was still not made up. The duty manageress was helpless and mosborough hall hotel all she could says s it wasn't her fault! no paper despite requesting it. At check out none seemed to want to address our issues. Do not stay here, terrible experience.

Me and my partner stayed at the hotel the other day and had a fantastic time, despite not being able to get out and about much because the weather was well extremely wet, we relaxed in the gorgeous bar area, food was great in the restaurant I had pork tenderloin and my partner had steak was delicious!
The room was very nice couldn't fault it at all, was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was modern and again we couldn't fault it.
I would reccomend the hotel to anyone,
The lady on the main bar (cant remember her name but she had really long blonde hair) was absolutley amazing !! nothing was too much and she deserves a special mention as did (Gem .. ?) who was working in the restaurant on her own on the night (2nd July)

Thanks so much guys we really enjoyed our stay !!
