I thought this was a Halls of Residence, and in a past life it was.
The standard of the rooms are perfect.
No less than 10 power outlets in my room, the bed was comfy, and while there are no in-room drink making facilities, there is an outstanding complimentary drinks facility before you get to reception.
The Staff:
Wow!! The lady who greeted me was outstanding, helpful and fun. She showed me to the accommodation and important stuff like the coffee machine (my addiction sorted – I was happy).
In fact every single person I spoke with came across as a cut above the norm and it left me impressed.
Parking is good.
Quality of sleep very good.
Food: ok, everything seemed slightly too well-done
Would I stay there again? YES
WIFI: Very good, but as it’s Sky, it blocks the BBC News website and Ebay.
If you use a VPN, you will need to reset your Wifi adapter settings without the VPN dns.
Complaints: Just one… No AC in rooms which, while rare not to have it, was noticeable on one of the hottest April days in recorded history.
Overall, it’s not the Ritz, but it ain’t bad at all. I stay in hotels a lot and found it perfect.
The only single reason it does not get a full 5 out of 5 is for the lack of ACMore
