“A nice place to be”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

I loved the nature, the walk, and especially the tasty scones from Endcliffe Cafe. You should try it. It is a really beautiful place to be on a Sunday afternoon and even during the week.

“The most beautiful park”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

All that you read about the beautiful English gardens in the story books can actually be seen here. A beautiful park to take a delightful walk.

“A bit of green space in a busy city park”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Endcliffe is a long, thin park squashed between two main roads - it boasts a children's activity park, a cafe, a duck pond and some limited walking space. Whenever i've been the park is a stampede of children and as there isn't enough equipment in the play park - it can turn ugly [I've never had a mother literally elbow me out of the way so she could get to a baby swing before me!!] , The cafe is always TOO busy and the open grassy areas have a fairly random scattering of dog excrement where selfish dog owners have not bothered to pick up. Overfed ducks look at the offered bread with a distainful eye [note too much is bad for them anyway] and the toilets are too few and always 'over used'.
Endcliffe Park is better than nothing but don't make a special effort to visit

“Good place to hangout in the summer.”

A good clean park where you can hang out and chill out with friends or just grab a book and and have wander about. The location is great.

“A lovely park ten minutes from the city centre”
Reviewed 5 May 2014

When I lived in the nearby neighbourhood of Nether Green in the nineties, Endcliffe Park was on my route to walk from home to the shops of Eccelesall Road.

Walking with children through the park was always a joy as there is so much to see and do, the duck ponds, the waterfalls, the river and the fantastic children's playground which my now grown children loved as tots.

The summer planting is always stunning too with beds of colourful annuals in the half of the park nearest to Hunters Bar.

Well worth a visit, just catch a number 81, 82, 83 or 84 bus from the town centre and get off at Hunters Bar .
