If you want to know about Sheffield's past and what made this city, Kelham Island is a must. Set amongst the heritage that it depicts, the museum covers all aspects of the steel and manufacturing industry that Sheffield is famous for. Well worth a visit.

This museum is a must for visitors of this (former) center for steel industry. Very instructie and inspring, also for kids. What ingenuity was developed here! Do not miss the large steam engineering, in operation every two hours. Surrounding Kelvin Island is beautifully restaured. Also take the opportunity to visit one of the two top pubs of the British Ilses, Kelvin island brewery and The Fat Cat, or both.

Was interesting but signage to find it was a little sparse. After walking around in circles eventually found it. More needs to be done to brighten up the area making it a good tourist attraction.

This attraction is alright to spend a hour or so walking round if it's raining or if you are really interested in the exhibitions however it didn't interest me in the slightest was much better when I went as a child with school for a victorian experience
