we went last night the pub is as clean and fresh looking as it is on the website (which makes a nice change) there was a good selection of real ales as well as other lagers and wines etc the landlord was very helpful talking us through the menu and making sure we was happy. The food was very nice and we didn't come away hungry.
the only downside was finding the place (maybe some directions on the website? as our satnav wanted us to go through the bus station) Are we going back big fat YES

Thank Shaun B

Intrigued by the Czech menu I saw advertised so thought I would give it try, can't fault it, if you have been to Prague and unable to revisit soon but miss the food there, come here. All cooked from scratch, hearty portions and very tasty. The garlic soup with the melted cheese was wow, the schnitzel superb. Going to work my way through the menu over the weeks. If you can pretend the Town Hall is St Vitus's cathedral then you can save yourself a flight !!!

There was a group of 6 of us having some food for a birthday on Saturday lunchtime, the food was lovely, the group ate a mixture of fish and chips, curry, beef goulash and sandwiches, followed by desserts. Everyone enjoyed their food and the prices were very reasonable and there was a great selection of hand-pulled beers.

There was a large table behind us eating food and all their plates were cleared too, I remarked to the barmaid that the curry was lovely and she said the food is home made....that makes a refreshing change these days.

The lady serving behind the bar was very friendly as was the Landlord, the place was also spotlessly clean, we would definitely go there again.
