My husband and I stayed here prior to walking the Pennine Way.
The room was on the top floor with fantastic views. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities. The flat screen TV had lots of stations and a very clear picture.
The bathroom was also very modern with a superb big shower. The self service breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, beans, scrambled egg, sausage, toast white and brown bread, fruit juices, tea, coffee, pastries, croissants, cheese etc. It was eat as much as you want, which was fabulous for the money we paid- £23 each B&B. All the staff were friendly and very welcoming.
It took us 5 minutes to walk into the town centre.
Overall a fantastic hotel in a good location and an excellent start to our walking holiday. We could not fault this hotel at all.
