We were invited to a 30th birthday party to the cocktail masterclass which included a package of prosecco on arrival and chance to make 3 cocktails before either nibbles (£24.99) or pizza (£29.99). On arrival we were greeted by our host Luke, he was fantastic. He asked us up in groups of five to talk through the cocktail and help us make them. The best thing that Luke said was “if you put double measures of the alcohol in you’ll have to double up the rest so that the cocktails that are made properly”. For us this certainly set the tone for the evening. Luke was very relaxed, helpful and welcoming and clearly had experience of entertaining parties for this masterclass. The venue was the entire first floor where the bar was. This included a dance area, seating and opportunities to put our own music on. Once we made our two cocktails there was an option to make our third or have a shot, play a game and have the third made and brought to us with out food. We opted for the shot, game and cocktail brought to us. The game was a basic drinking game which was light hearted and entertaining. Afterwards we went to the main club area where we had a large table reserved, we didn’t have to wait long at all for the drinks and the food. Some had full pizzas and some had the nibbles - we had the nibbles which was more than I expected. It was dough balls and garlic bread made in their pizza oven. Needless to say they were delicious. Overall the experience felt like it was worth the money that was paid, and more than anything the experience was made by the host. I definitely recommend this class as it was a perfect start to the night.
