Every time I visit the Bistro I am constantly amazed at the superb Quality of the food that is produced there. The menu's knock spots off many larger chains.
We visited on Saturday with a party of 8 for the Bistro night menu. A 3 course meal plus coffee. I had Deep Fried Brie, Pan Fried Cod with Celariac Mash and Green Beans and Lemon and Lime Cheese cake. Other Choices were Prawns topped with Mozarella, Butternut Squash and Sweet Potato soup, Stuffed Chicken breast wrapped in parma hame, Slow braised Beef, with mustard mash, Spicy Stuffed Aubergine, Lemon Posset and Cheeseboard.
If you want wine, take your own. There is no corkage charge but if you have a bottle with a cork they will open it for you.
The food is wonderfully cooked and prepared in a tiny Kitchen. Shaun and Ian (Chef) are very friendly.
My parents and their neighbours are regulars at the Bistro nights and Caribbean Nights, and they have also enjoyed the Burger and Pizza nights too.
We have also enjoyed nice breakfasts and coffee and scones there too.
Can't speak too highly of it. It is just what was needed in the area. Proper service with a smile.
