The Sheaf Valley Bakery is located in Sheffield Castle Market. It opened in September and already seems to be selling well. They are one of the few bakeries in the city that make their products from scratch and bake them on site as well, using organic ingredients.
As it is in the market, there is not much room to sit, but there are some stools and a table with benches. It feels quite cute and cosy despite the limitations of the market, as they have decorated the shop with ingredients as well as the final products.
The bakers, Tim and Ali are very friendly and helpful. There are some staple bread products, but many of the other things like sweets change depending on what they feel like making.
I tried their pizza, brownies, soda bread and black forest cake, and I thought they were all delicious. The prices are a bargain for what you get there. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality bakery in Sheffield.
