I've been here a few times with friends, usually about 10 or 12 of us. There is a good choice of food, and even though it is a big place it doesn't feel like it. We go here because they seem to be able to accommodate us, and everyone can find something on the menu that they like.

Decided to pop in here for a late meal on Easter Monday (around 9pm) and didn't think they would still be serving food but they were, anddo right up until 11pm.
We both ordered a chicken and ribs combo which was beautiful and excellent value for money. Drinks priced excellently as in all Wetherspoons pubs. Pleasantly surprised with this place!

Ideally would have rated 3.5 if the option was there as would describe as 'good' but deserves better than 'average'. Have visited previously a couple of times - this time was for Sunday breakfast. As with every Wetherspoons you have an expectation that the prices will be more than reasonable before you arrive. If for that you are expecting perfectly satisfactory food that is generously portioned and tasty then you'll not be disappointed here. Full English breakfast was just as I expected and set me up well for the day. Breakfast for 2 and 2 accompanying bar drinks for under £10.00 - I've certainly no complaints on that score. Not top end dining but doesn't pretend that it is. Surroundings here are nice and one of the better Wetherspoons in the area - big windows overlooking the main road, nice selection of seating choices (standard tables, tall tables, comfortable sofas/chairs) and lots of outdoor seating for the warmer months. Quite busy on our visit with all age groups enjoying their food with no apparant issues at all. Certainly worth a visit if in the area.

Recently visited sheaf island, and i couldn't believe how ignorant the bar staff were. When i stood at the bar, i was not even acknowledged by staff, when i was eventually noticed, i was met with Sarcastic remarks. I honestly could not believe how rude and ignorant the staff were, i wont be coming here again. If you can't socialise with customers, join the bus service.

We had both dinner and breakfast whilst staying at the nearby Premier Inn.

Dinner was good but nothing special, We discovered they had run out of Fish & Chips after we had ordered and paid but they were happy to substitute Salmon at no extra cost.

Breakfast was good, there seems little point in paying for all you can eat at Hotel if you don't want a huge amount - Wetherspoons deliver a substantial breakfast at half the price of the PI.
