Been a couple of times when it wasn't busy but still a slow moving queue and poor service, but the ice cream made up for it.
This weekend we popped in and wish we had kept going, they had an event with stalls, so parking was opposite in a field which caused chaos with cars trying to enter and leave the field, pedestrians, buggies, dogs sharing the same route in, thankfully people were understanding. We went for ice cream and we expected as they had put an in event on they would have extra facilities to sell their product, but no a massive queue, everyone in the full heat of the sun, as we had promised ice cream we waited and waited the best part of 40 minutes, the service poor and the staff hassled so we didn't get our toppings and the range limited, which you didn't find out until you entered the actual building and had been waiting 30 minutes already. if you bought tubs you could jump the queue?
Drive past if anything going on, we didn't go round the stalls few places to sit and no shade, Disappointed all round.

Excellent range of quality 'different' ice-cream and very, very reasonable prices, in a quiet spot of the beaten track.

Always supporting local produce and this is as local as it gets for me! Amazing products and the best ice cream in sheffield worth the 20 minute wait on a summers day!

We visited today with our 2 young boys. We got there a little early but we took the opportunity to sit on a bench and admire the beautiful views of the countryside. Once inside we took the children to see the baby calf, who was very friendly, then we went to get out ice creams ! My husband tells me the salted caramel flavour was very good but I didn’t get a look in as he inhaled it ! I had the coconut flavour that was beautiful, the kids thoroughly enjoyed their “just molly” ice creams. Staff were very friendly and got the queues down as quick as possible. This visit was finished with the kids going in the little play area which they liked.
Would definitely visit again.

Sunday 29th April 18, After lunch at 'The Old Horns Inn', our friend then drove us in her car to the village of Dungford to ‘Our Cow Molly’ Farm, for an ice cream cone, made on the premises of this farm.

‘Molly Cow Farm’, was started in 1947, by the present owners grand-father Hector Andrew who started the dairy farm. The farm is located in Dungworth on the top of one of the seven hills Sheffield is built on. When Hector Andrew first started delivering his bottled milk in Sheffield, a pint of milk had the same value as a loaf of bread and a pint of beer.

Sixty years later, his children and grandchildren are running the farm. Today the milk price is so poor, 3 UK Dairy Farmers a day are giving up producing milk. The family did not want to be next so ‘Our Molly Cow’ dairy ice cream was born.

The family have been producing there delicious ice cream since 2007, with help and support from the people of Sheffield.

‘Molly Cow Farm’ is a working farm where you can pet and feed the animals i.e. hens, lambs and of course the cows which give the milk for this amazing ice cream.

We all indulged in this delicious ice cream. Out friend had a large tub of lemon and ginger and chocolate ice cream. My husband had a large cornet of passion fruit ice cream and I too also had a large cornet of coconut and cappuccino ice cream, which was delicious. We all sat in the ice cream parlour enjoying the views across the countryside.

This is a wonderful place to come especially for children.
