Always ask for a room facing away from the main road and the corridor fire doors.
Otherwise, reasonably comfortable and clean rooms with freeview tv and 30 minutes free internet (though slow connection).
I would use this hotel again if I was in the area.

Room Tip: Always ask for a room facing away from the main road and the corridor fire doors.

Excellent, clean facility with beds that would do your own home proud and there were even extra pillows. The towels were an unusually generous size as were the pillows. The staff were helpful, courteous and friendly and as it was over Christmas, that was an unexpected blessing. We visit this area quite a bit and we won't stay anywhere else from now on.

Very good value for money. Friendly staff and clean spacious rooms. Our only complaint was other guests being noisy in the room above ours.

Room Tip: Rooms in the extension are quieter

Large clean rooms in good condition. Cooked breakfast was not bad. Very good value for money for a well equipped and comfortable room.

We thought that this hotel was good value at £29. The room was warm and clean and it was nice to see that 3 separate beds had been made up for us. At Holiday Inn Express and Travelodge we have had to make up the sofa beds ourselves which can take ages.
The location of the hotel is rather noisy. We had a room on the front, looking out on to a huge car park, so we got a fair bit of noise from this. The inside of the hotel was also not that quiet, with kids running up and down the corridors shouting until quite late at night.
We have used lots of other Premier Inns that were quieter.

Room Tip: Rooms on the back may be quieter.

The Receptionist was friendly and the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable but do not stay on the ground floor or at the front of the hotel. The Security light was outside our window so we had that shining brightly into our room all night lighting us up like Blackpool illuminations. Outside in the carpark there was a fight between drunken revellers and then someone vomited by our window. The corridors were noisy and we were disturbed at 6am by a man conducting a very loud conversation on his mobile outside our door. The Taybarn breakfast was passable in that the children ate free but I've eaten much nicer and much less greasier food. My constant gripe with all hotels like Premier Inn, Travelodge etc is that they do not allow for 1 adult travelling with 3 children. I have to pick the 2 adult 2 children option whhich is feel is grossly unfair. I have 14 year old twins and a 10 year old but no one really accomodates for this scenario
