Staying here on business, the room itself was very good, albeit the room temperature controls did not seem to want to work!! The hotel is currently going through a refurbishment, but I was fortunate to arrive after work had finshed for the day and leave before it started...

If I stayed here again I would definitely NOT eat in the Taybarn Restuarant again as it was noisy and full of people who seemed to be competing on how much food could be put onto one plate...not a pleasant eating experience, and one I shall definitely avoid in the future

We met friends and family in Sheffield for an Engagement Celebration. The Premier Inn was in a good location on the outskirts of Sheffield. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and the staff were polite and helpful. The restaurant attached had a good buffet selection "all you could eat" for £8.99. We were pleasantly surprised with the Hotel as it was much better than the Travelodge we once stayed in.

This was a half-way overnight for us on a trip from Kent to Scotland. Strange location, it has to be said, but the hotel was great. The receptionist on arrival couldn't have been more welcoming, and the staff the following morning were very helpful. Our car was shrouded in ice, but one of the ladies went out with a spray and cleared it for us. Brilliant. The room was clean, comfortable and most of all, quiet. Dinner in the barn was an experience - fun and good food, though not one we'd probably want to repeat.

Room Tip: Aim for the back of the hotel, with only a grassy embankment outside the window.

Stayed in a family room with a mattress on the floor and an additional single bed/sofa. Accommodation is just what you expect at other Premier Inns. The restaurant Taybarns, an all you can eat buffet is next door. Nice choice, decent food for the money (especially at the lunch time price)

The location is on a very busy roundabout coming off the Peak district and the hotel itself is on the beginning of an industrial park, so in the morning, very busy. There is also a petrol station with a shop and a McDonalds across the street, so convenient for snacks or drinks if needed without driving.

The actual hotel isn't near any attractions but it's a quick drive to Sheffield (within 20mins).
