we arrived with 9 people for 5 days staying in sheffield during the world championship of snooker.
The hotel is very very clean, with the Good Night Guarantee you have a very good feeling of well sleepness. It was very quiet, the staff very friendly.
Breakfast was good and comprehensive.
When I will search a hotel, I will look, if Premier Inn is in nearness.

What a welcome from Becky the receptionist at the Sheffield / Barnsley premier inn very helpful in checking in and advising on local amenities the rooms have had the DIY SOS team in by the look of them all clean new tellys very stylish this hotel chain offer good night policy which I have never taken them up on as I sleep like a baby when using them, come on guys try it you are only here once enjoy your self in a premier inn,,hope becky's boss read's this so she is rewarded for being the light at the end of the tunnel,,

Room Tip: Room 15 is great facing car park is not loud as double glazing solves this problem

The room was spacious ,very very clean, modern well equiped and the bed very comfortable and as we could not book in the main wedding hotel this proved an excellent choice. The staff were very helpful and we would definitely stay here again

Room Tip: Less road noise in rooms not over looking the front carpark

I had a hospital appointment in Sheffield and had arranged to drive down and back the same day with my daughter as her car is more economical than mine when, at 4.00pm she had a call to start work the next morning. A quick call to my wife to accompany me instead, then an internet search for accommodation as I did not fancy driving the round trip myself led me to this hotel.
The web site advised that the reception was open 24hours but in some locations the doors are locked at 11.00pm and if you were arriving after then you should call directly and tell the staff to expect you. This was the only fault they had as I could not get an answer from the number given before leaving and on the way down.
We arrived just after midnight and had a very quick and friendly check in, shown to a clean and spacious room and had a cup of tea within 5mins. of arrival. Following a comfortable night we had (pre-booked) breakfast in the Taybarns next door where again all the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast very enjoyable and good value. Check out was also very quick and friendly

taybarns next door offered a great breakfast and staff were friendly.
would recommend 100%

Room Tip: family rooms vary quite alot from each premier inn we have stayed in some with very large rooms and some where we were all squashed in so please phone a check before hand if you want a room with space.
