Dare I say I'm becoming rather addicted to Victoria junctions ciabatta with grilled hulumi cheese and roasted veg they know exactly how to tantalise your taste buds even drizzling oil and balsamic vinegar on . Their meals are that extra bit special more fitting of an up market bistro than a small cosy cafe over looking the canal .
Their salads are crisp and fresh not a limp lettuce insight . I even go in just for a standard salad box to have with our tea .
The ladies in there are friendly and strive for customer satisfaction .
They even asked my children during the six weeks holidays if they would like some bread to feed the fish in the canal which they enjoyed doing .
Oh just one more thing ,as I have just read that someone had done a review and mentioned that there was some boy in there who was 12 !! Well that boy in question was a 15 year old school boy who Victoria junction had given a work experience opportunity to . And I know this because he spoke polity and made conversation to me as he handed over one of their amazing sandwiches . !! Keep up the good work ladies . Just need a Victoria junction 2 now or most cafés to take a leaf out of your book .

Really good food and reasonable, 4 of us ate there yesterday for lunch, lovely food, nice quiet place, inside or out. Hot or cold lunch, with the best luxury scone I had ever tasted with jam and cream for afters. You have to try them.

Full breakfast is well cooked and inexpensive. Nice selection of cakes too. And plenty of other options for those with smaller appetites. Pleasing location, esp sitting out at canalside if it's sunny, 10 mins from the city centre. Friendly staff too.

It was a sunny weekday morning. Getting bored of breakfast sandwiches from the city centre chains, I decided to try a hidden gem of a café which I had discovered during a lunchtime walk from work a few weeks previously.

This place is obviously something of a local secret, somewhat hidden away on the rather secluded Victoria quays yet within a few minutes walk of many city centre offices. Where else in Sheffield is it possible to have a seated breakfast (either indoors or outside) with a view of a restored Victorian cobbled quayside? This café is also handily located near many city centre hotels (ideal for guest who don't want to pay inflated hotel breakfast prices).

On arrival the staff greeted me with beaming smiles and good humour. This is a genuine independent café which attracts regular clients both for breakfasts and hot and cold snacks and meals throughout the day.

I ordered the English breakfast at £3.95. This consists of 2 bacon, 2 sausages, egg, beans, tomatoes and mushrooms and also includes a slice of toast. This was nicely cooked and very tasty. Only one minor criticism, I would suggest they pre-heat the plates as such breakfasts can cool rather fast. A very generous mug of tea was £1 and extremely hot and fairly strong which is how it should be. I discovered from another customer that they also offer black pudding for 30p extra which I will try on a future visit.

Also worthy of note is that ice creams and lollies are very cheap here if you need cooling down.

For lunch they offer jacket potatoes, hot and cold sandwiches, omelettes and daily specials. I was pleased they have introduced Saturday opening recently from 9 to 3.
