Visited the Iron Bridge on way home from elsewhere and decided to eat out. Looked in my trusty good pub guide and Lo and behold we were literally parked outside this establishment which was listed. Common sense prevailed and in we went. The 3 children with us were made very welcome which always a great start. A couple of well earned pints of Doom Bar started the evening off well. An extensive children's menu with plenty of choice gave me the impression this was going to go well. It did not disappoint in any way at all. Childrens meals were fabulous and gratefully received. The adult meals were also very good and obviously home made. Reasonably priced too ensured everyone was well, watered and happy. A result and a firm promise to return one day when next in the area. Give it a whirl you won't be disappointed.

Excellent service. Very friendly and quick.
My husband and I opted for the roast turkey. It came on the plate with roast potatoes and stuffing balls and cranberry sauce on the top of the meat. The veg was served in a separate dish.
The turkey was tender but the cranberry was very sweet and it had permeated the meat with it's flavour. Personally I would have preferred it on the side. The Roast potatoes were quite large and rather under done but the other veg was fine.

After a disappointing meal elsewhere we decided to give this place a shot. On walking in we were a bit taken aback by the décor with red walls and black and red furniture - not ideal for a relaxing meal/ambience. However we were very pleasantly surprised that the menu was so good with a separate vegetarian menu, which we were happy to order from. The food arrived quickly and was very good. The service was excellent too. I would definitely return but perhaps with my sunglasses next time!

Tasty and large meals. Nice staff. The rsturaubt area is nice and relaxing, not too bright or too dark. Food and drinks are definitely overpriced though.
