The wife and myself had gone into Ironbridge for something to eat and a drink, after walking up the high street we went into La Casita.
We walked up the narrow staircase into what was a small first floor room.
It was small possibly 20 covers. But a young man welcomed and got us seated.
We picked a couple of dishes at a time, food tasty & well presented, waiter polite and attentive without being over bearing.
Atmosphere good, the lady from the kitchen helped serve the food, which added to the homely feel.
Small bar but well stocked bar, we just drank a few cold Estralla's which suited the atmosphere of a casual Friday night.
We had 8 different dishes, and 6 beers the bill was about £32 which we felt was very reasonable.
The bill came with a couple of complementary "shots" of liqueur.
All in all, a really nice restaurant, great service and good value.

We stumbled across this place having gone in search of Italian food and been put off by the extortionate prices of the various generic eateries around Ironbridge. We were the only people in the restaurant (which is tiny), but rather than being awkward, this made it feel a bit like a private dining experience and we received really impeccable service! The food was delicious, as were the cocktails which were made fresh and tasted fantastic. A nice, varied tapas menu with some excellent flavours and reasonable prices- 7 tapas dishes and 2 large cocktails came to just under £60, which felt more than fair given the prices of some of the other Ironbridge restaurants. It's a very unassuming looking place, and I suspect some visitors might be put off by its rustic charm, but this is the type of restaurant we should really be supporting- individual, independent and incredibly good food.
