Very interesting Victorian town. All staff very informative, well worth spending time in each shop to speak to the staff, they all have a story to tell. Lovely walk through the woods to the 'lift'.

It is well worth buying the pass to all local attractions if you are in the area for more than a day, it is very cost effective. Blist is by far the best attraction on the pass.

I would urge anyone with even a passing interest in Victorian history to visit this superb attraction which comprises a working Victorian village as a basis. The attention to detail and the affable, knowledgable volunteers made our visit a real treat. Delicious beef dripping cooked fish and chips are available at the fried fish merchants located behind the traditional public house which also serves locally sourced produce all sold at reasonable prices. I would caution anybody who has walking difficulties from a visit as some of the attractions are located down a rather steep hill.

Ironbridge is very close to where we live and have bought a passport for 12 months. We have been several times particularly when they have an event on. The bakery food is lovely and fresh. We've brought pasties from the butchers again lovely food. All of the shops, factories are interesting.

Watch out for the policeman he is an entertainer.

The chip shop is fairly expensive.

The pub is great and they have sing-a-longs which are good fun.

There are lots of walks and you can take dogs, but we haven't taken ours.

The daughter loves the little fair and makes me go on the swinging chairs and love boats with her.

Make sure you take some bread and feed the fish in the canal, they are really big and sometimes jump out of the water.

Another must is the school lesson. The teachers are really funny and pick on the adults.

This "live" town has been created with tremendous enthusiasm and an eye for the way things were at the turn of the century. From the scene-setting open short video as one enters through to the small workers cottages, one is transported back in time. I particularly liked the way one could ask questions of the various actors in the Bank, or the Pub, or the working foundry for some of the history of their area of responsibility. Very friendly and easy to talk to.

Very good value, we went for an hour and spent three and a half there.

Superbly presented, how proud to be British, our forebears inventiveness and industry - awe inspiring. Ensure you speak with the interpreters, they are both informative and entertaining. It must be a super place to work as all staff were so enthusiastic.
Well worth the entrance fee, we spent the whole day walking around the site.
