“Lovely quiet cottage yet close to town.”

It would be hard to find a more peaceful cottage yet so close to the main streets and wonderful old town of Ludlow. The owners have done everything possible to make visitors welcome. The cottage is clean and very well equipped with good quality fittings and furnishings throughout. The beds are extremely comfortable; lovely linen and towels. Everything one might need in the kitchen was provided, even shopping bags and umbrellas by the door.
Ludlow is one of the finest towns in England with its splendid architecture, wide streets, castle, good shops and markets. Many restaurants, pubs, cafes and good sandwich bars. Interesting walks and beautiful Shropshire country to explore.
Take plenty of coins for the parking tickets if you want to have your car nearby and watch the hours! A parking permit is provided for free parking but you have to hoof it across town - perhaps not ideal for the older visitor, or in the rain carrying bags!
Many thanks for a really lovely break.

“Lovely, quiet and relaxing place”

I booked the cottage in ludlow for a weekend with some friends. Right from the start Andrew was extremely helpful and sent additional tourist information in the post. Despite being in the centre of Ludlow the cottage is in a very quiet and beautiful location. It is extremely well furnished, the kitchen is very well equipped, the bedrooms are very comfortable and cosy, and the bathroom is modern and spotless. The cottage has wifi as well as a number of DVDs, and a wealth of tourist information about places to visit.
We were welcomed on arrival by a piece of delicious home made cake and a bottle of wine, which made our stay even more relaxing!
Overall, a wonderful stay with a really wonderful host. Thoroughly recommend and will definitely visit again!

We had a lovely time at 2 The Vineyard, it is a very beautiful and traditional cottage set in an amazing peaceful walkway. Ludlow compliments the cottage with wonderful sites and eating establishments. Highly recommended.

“Absolute Perfection, loved everything !!”

This cottage was an amazing find, it is tucked away behind a private gate so if you want privacy and peace it is perfect but the town of Ludlow with all it's great amenities is only a few minutes walk away. The owners have created a most thoughtful, extremely comfortable and well appointed residence, obviously no expenses has been spared and everything there is of the highest standard. Fresh flowers, a home baked cake and a bottle of wine greeted us and the owner called in to make sure that we had settled ok and to check if there was anything else we needed, great personal service, much appreciated. We were there for four days but for those days we felt totally relaxed and it really rejuvenated our batteries, absolutely loved it and cannot wait to return, have already booked as it is becoming very popular and many people are making return visits, why wouldn't you !!! The visitor book makes interesting reading as it is not just visitors from the UK who have found this idyllic spot.Parking is a slight problem but easily overcome with the owners advice. Enjoy !!!

Thank you so much for your kind & generous review! Very pleasing to hear that our efforts to make our guests stay special have been successful. We would love to welcome you back soon.
As far as parking is concerned we provide a pass that enables free parking just a short walk from the cottage.
