We had lunch here today on the terrace with a view over the river, and the food - gnocchi in a ragu sauce, a lemony tagliatelle with red chard, and local pork salami for main courses, and a vanilla panecotta with wildberries, and a freshly baked lemon polenta cake for dessert (the latter was sublime) - was excellent. The service was very friendly. Children and a couple of dogs were having a great time playing on the green next to the Cafe, or in the gentle shallow water of the river below the terrace. We came at 12 noon - and it was very busy shortly after. It's location is away from the main tourist crowds in the centre of Ludlow, which is good - you'd only find this place if you were looking for it. We'll be going back very soon.
