“A good chice for a stay in Ludlow”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 March 2013

The B&B is well situated for exploring the town & is only a few minutes from the station so no need for a taxi if you come by train as we did.
The room was a good size & very clean as was the bathroom. Breakfast was good, especially the sausages.
I would recommend staying here for a quiet stay that is close to the town centre.

Conveniently situated in the town centre, this warm, friendly and welcoming B&B is absolutely ideal for exploring Ludlow and the surrounding countryside. Access controlled parking alongside is convenient and the mews style arrangement of the rooms ensures a degree of privacy not normally experienced at a B&B.
Rosemarie and John are welcoming hosts and maintain this establishment at a very high level of cleanliness and attention to detail. Highly recommended and worthy of a return visit!

Room Tip: Room 3 is especially spacious and being at the end of the 'mews', gives a high level of priv...

This is a lovely warm, welcoming and conveniently situated B and B. The breakfast was very good and there is the added bonus of parking at the side of the building. There is great attention to detail. We will definitely recommend it.

Stayed in Room no 3 during the January snow.

Nice and clean, with a large bathroom. Very handy for the town, and a lovely home cooked breakfast. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Charming and highly recommended.

We have stayed in Ludlow a few times before and decided to give 130 Corve Street a try based on the reviews posted here. We certainly weren't dissapointed. We had room No. 3 and it was excellent. Spotlessly clean, private parking, lovely hosts with lots of info to impart on the area and a superb cooked breakfast the next morning. All of Ludlow's attractions are within easy walking distance. We arrived around midday on the Sunday and both our room and parking space were available. The room is just the right size, well equipped, meticulously prepared and with a lovely bathroom. Loads of hot water, great water pressure for the shower, complimentary toiletries and a well stocked host tray - tea, coffee, biscuits, etc. and all at just £69. The owner is lovely - she makes you feel very welcome, takes time to have a chat and is very knowledgeable about what the area has to offer in terms of pubs, restaurants, shops, etc. We had booked lunch at the Unicorn Inn which is close by. This is a lovely old pub with a roaring log fire and great real ales. I must say we were a little disappointed with lunch. We both had the pork which was very fatty. The roast potatoes were good but the vegetables were probably enough for one diner and alhough we like ours al dente, these were boardering on raw. The service was good and we didn't complain but it's a shame as this is such a lovely old inn with so much potential. Maybe we chose an off day. Given the meagre portions, we trooped off to the Golden Moments later in the evening and as we have come to expect, the food was excellent. We shall definitely return to Ludlow and when we do, will make sure we book 130 Corve Street once again.

Room Tip: If you want a bath ask for no. 3 as I believe the other two have shower only
