We stayed here for a family get together and had a fantastic time. The house was beautiful, very well equipped, bright and very well maintained with plenty of room for 12 people. There's lots to do for all the family with a pool table, air hockey, tennis, golf, trampoline, zip wire and lots more. Emma the house manager and her husband were really helpful and very friendly. Highly recommended.
Had a great 4 nights stay. Beautifully furnished home, really clean, lovely firm beds and quality linen, great dining room and lounges, we all loved the games room and the garden was magnificent. Had a great time playing golf, and the kids spent hours on the zip wire and trampoline. There were fun games to play, including badminton net and racquets, and table tennis, pool, snooker, ice hockey....not a moment to be bored. Fun for all.
Ludlow is a pretty market town, the chips from the man in the market were the best ever, and the Ludlow Fish Bar and Restaurant fish was the best battered fish ever and huge! Aldi and Tesco in Ludlow very good for supplies.
Quiet location, very peaceful bird life and country lanes nearby, cannot hear a car, just perfect for a family holiday.
We had a wonderful weekend at The Manor House to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary with family.
The house is delightful, spotlessly clean and big enough for us to all be together or split off for time alone. The five children from 1-9 years loved playing in the grounds and the bigger kids enjoyed the golf course and table tennis immensely.
Lovely places close by with a woodland trust place just up the road for lovely walks, 3 miles away from Ludlow so a perfect setting really.
Big thank you to Emma and Chris who look after the house and met us on arrival, nothing was too much trouble and Emma was so accommodating, we really appreciate your efforts.
We are already thinking of returning for a birthday celebration. Thanks again
We've just returned from spending a long weekend at The Manor House. We are absolutely delighted to have celebrated my parents Golden Wedding Anniversary at this beautiful home.
From our initial enquiry to the time of our arrival the communication with Jo, the owner & Emma, the House Manager, was excellent.
We were warmly greeted by Emma & given a thorough tour of the home on our arrival before unpacking to enjoy a long weekend of celebrations with three generations of family from the age of 12 to 70. It was a surprise gathering for my parents to celebrate their very special occasion & boy did they and everybody else enjoy it!
The Manor House provided superb, spacious accommodation ideal for all ages. The house was maintained to a high standard & well equipped. There was plenty to do for everyone. The games room was well equipped & went down a treat with numerous games of pool & air hockey played amongst the family. So did the games of golf which became quite competitive!
The grounds were beautifully maintained & the views were breathtaking. The location is idyllic with just a ten minute drive to Ludlow.
The only disappointment was having to leave this beautiful home behind after having such a fabulous time & making so many wonderful memories. We can't recommend this home highly enough & will definitely be returning in the future. Its absolutely outstanding.
All arrived on cold November to a toasty warm house. Beautiful rooms, lovely kitchen and long dining table we all could fit round.
Rooms clean and comfortable beds ensured all slept well.
Grown ups loved the rooms, golf course and walks around....kids loved the same and a few fairy doors in the garden kept the 2 younger girls enchanted.
We cooked Christmas dinner in a well equipped kitchen whilst the lovely sound system ensured festive music throughout the ground floor.
Last time we came was a couple of years ago in the summer....a brilliant place in summer and winter. Thanks Emma and Jo for all the arrangements and treats.
We had a wonderful experience at the Manor House.
We chose this property for a family 70th Birthday celebration. When we arrived we had a very comprehensive tour of the house which made us feel very welcome. The Manor House was very well equipped and acted as a superb base for our family gathering. We thoroughly enjoyed the games room and golf course as well as enjoying a number of walks of the local area. Ludlow is beautiful and only a stones throw away by car. We used the park and ride which made the trip stress free.
We would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again in the future.

We really enjoyed our weekend at the Manor House. We were a group of 3 families, with children aged from 10 to late teens, so were a bit worried about how we would keep everyone happy. We needn't have worried - the inside of the house was very well arranged with different rooms (including space for pool, airhockey, and board games), so that we could split up at times - but there was also enough room to sit together when we wanted to. The well equipped kitchen made cooking easy. We were pleased to be able to take the dog, and though she was restricted to the garden and (very spacious) kitchen/diner this worked out ok. Emma had the house lovely and warm for our arrival and the property was very well presented - comfortable and stylish, well looked after but not too precious! Really comfortable beds and great bathrooms.
We were lucky with the weather and the outside was lovely - a well planned garden, and dry enough for us all to enjoy some golf, and a bit of table tennis. The zip wire, disappointingly slow for our ten year olds when they first tried it was miraculously fixed overnight to become much more zippy next day. We didn't have to ask.
We can recommend the short walk to Richard's castle, with its goats. It was great to be able to not need the cars all weekend.
