“beautiful old church”

fascinating wood carvings in the misericords (learnt that word on my trip to Ludlow!) and the quilt commemorating Housman's centenary was beautiful and symbolic.

“Lovely”
Reviewed 29 June 2014

Beautiful building with strong links to the Yorkist Mortimer family. There were plenty of historical momentous from the wars of the Roses (check out the stain glass window of Edward IV & the wooden carvings in the choir stalls)
There were plenty of volunteers willing to help, who had good knowledge.
A nice gift shop to browse around.

“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed 26 June 2014

A large and interesting parish church. Interested to find it was in a Yorkist stronghold. The staff were very helpful in pointing out things that one might have missed.
