What a little gold mine this place is,place is clean and tidy, the staff quick to help in any way they can, food was cooked just how it should be and the thick shake was to die for,my bf had a tuna and cheese melt panini with a side order of chips and he said it was the nicest he'd tasted in a long time :),I had the breakfast and it was cooked just right, lovely little place and would certainly recommend it,well done to whoever owns this

We've eaten here a few times & been impressed in the past, but my beef salad was pretty dire this time. On the plus side the thyme potatoes were excellent, BUT the beef was stringy, tough & tasteless. The beetroot was soaked in vinegar, destroying the flavour (I thought this practice went out decades ago) & about a quarter of the plate was covered in sweet pickle, which really didn't go.

Brilliant setting to look at the immaculate Ludlow Castle Gardens, excellent coffee and cakes. The children enjoyed their buns and lemonade, hope that does not sound too Enid Blyton?

This Castle Lodge Buttery is actually a café.
We order Flapjack and two hazelnut latte
It had a lovely view out the window.
Flapjack were homemade and taste nice but the Hazelnut latte had no taste of coffee in it and it weak and too much milk not how coffee should taste like.
It got WC and very handy if you need the toilet.
It supply newspaper

Well you guys here in sunny England really know how to do a food festival hey, top marks.
But omg, this butter place really sucks hey!
Two young girls couldn't be faulted for their service, with a smile ( even though the main guy gave them a hard time over not getting the orders out quick enough, gees give them a break guys. )

Overall

Managers attitude sucks
Waitresses top dollar
Food, less than average
Tea (was wet) thought you English knew how to do tea??
Toilets, heard of toilet duck?

Never thought I'd be so glad to see a costa after traveling 4,000miles

AVOID
