This is a first class B&B. We stayed for 3 nights in the Mortimer room which was very spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with a small settee, 2 armchairs and a footrest. We had a view of the castle, the church and acres of unspoilt countryside. The little touches like fresh milk and bottled water in the fridge on the landing and good quality chocolate biscuits made it special. You are given a front door key so you can come and go as you please and because the letting rooms are in a separate part of the house you do not disturb the owners of the house. The hosts Andrew & Sarah are very welcoming and cook a great breakfast which includes local preserves from the Ludlow Food Centre (well worth a visit). Parking is plentiful and it is only a 10-15 minute walk into Ludlow. This has been the best B&B we have ever stayed in.

Room Tip: The Mortimer Room is the largest and a bit more expensive, but all face the same way so have the views.

A B&B with a cozy lounge and fireplace. From the comfortable rooms you have a view of the castle, the cathedral and the lovely gardens.
Very quiet and peaceful location but close to town. Parking not an issue.
A delightful breakfast and our hosts, Sarah, Andrew and the children made a 60th birthday celebration very very memorable.

What a wonderful find. We stayed for a night with friends and couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. Sarah is a lovely host and very relaxed and warm. The rooms are lovely and the extra touches like water and milk in a fridge on the landing, proper tea bags and a yummy pack of biscuits make it so much better than a hotel. The views are spectacular and the house itself is lovely - very spacious and traditional. The full cooked breakfast with local produce cooked by Andrew was spectacular - top marks Andrew!

We liked the marmalade so much we stopped off at the Ludlow food centre on our way home to buy some!

Rodney Rocket (Jack Russell) was so adorable! He would wait for you to stroke him and was very well behaved.

All in all a wonderful experience that we hope to repeat very soon!

Sarah and Andrew are wonderful hosts and very welcoming. We stayed for two nights in March, when there was quite a bit of snow. They kindly offered to give us a lift to our restaurants and were fine about our return time, as you get your own key to enter the building.
We had a beautiful room with a view of the castle. Bed was very comfy and beautiful bed linen. En suite bathroom was immaculate with a powerful shower. There was also a hairdryer. There were some lovely treats in the bedroom waiting for us and a full tea tray. Also, they have thoughtfully provided a fridge outside the rooms where you can help yourself to milk and water (and store anything you may have bought locally).
It was my birthday treat and Sarah greeted me with a bottle of wine and birthday card, which was very sweet. It's a beautiful large house but very much feels like a welcoming home. Breakfast was served in a large oak room with a real fire. Breakfast is served at individual tables, which is a must for me as I am not one for conversing first thing in the morning. Cereals, fruit and yogurt and a fully cooked breakfast. All local produce and it was delicious. Sarah and Andrew kindly gave us some of their eggs before we left and we hunted out the butcher they use so we could take a taste of Ludlow home with us!
