We spent one night at pool cottage while attending a christening in Diddlebury. Arnold and Suzy are friendly and welcoming, the house is clean and beautifully decorated in a delightful setting and the breakfast was delicious. Great value for money. What more could you want from a B and B? Perfect, thank you!

My wife and I, plus her sister and brother-in-law have just returned from a 2 night stay at Pool Cottage, whilst attending the Ludlow Medieval Fayre. The most relaxing location, with fantastic hosts. Clean, comfortable, wonderful breakfasts, nothing too much trouble.

Just home from a two night stay with Suzy and Arnold, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We were welcomed with a pot of tea and home made scones which set the tone for the weekend. They're a lovely couple, who keep a comfortable and relaxed home. Arnold cooks a superb breakfast that really sets you up for the day, with lashings of locally sourced bacon, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms and eggs from their own hens. The house is set in a stuning country location only 10 minutes from Ludlow and is furnished with mainly antique furniture, and is as comfortable as it is quiet. Highly recommended!!

Room Tip: The double room is en-suite and the twin has exclusive use of a seperate bathroom and toilet, all ro...

My husband and I stayed with Arnold and Suzanna last weekend, we don't often choose to stay in B & B's, but the lovely location and friendly warm personalities of our hosts may have now made us rethink for the future. If you want a relaxing location with lots of history and activities close by as well as being treated like royalty this is perfection. We will definately be returning in the future.

Room Tip: There are only two rooms, so you may need to choose your dates wisely I think when word gets around...

We recently spent 4 nights with Arnold and Suzie. They make a thoughtful and considerate team. Because we had no car, Arnold picked us up at the station, drove us to Pool Cottage and offered us tea and freshly made scones. We had requested dinner for the evening of our arrival and received an excellent 3 course meal. So good, that we opted to dine there for 2 more evenings. Breakfast each morning was copious and served in a beautifully furnished dining room. The furniture throughout consisted of many antiques and a large number of hunting prints which added to the country atmosphere. The tranquility of the surroundings was enhanced by a consummate English country garden with lots of roses and a pond complete with ducks and moorhens. The peace and quiet was welcome after a busy week of travelling and hiking. We recouped our energy sufficiently to walk a few miles through fields to nearby Corfton and the Sun Inn Pub. A visit to Ludlow, a fascinating mediaeval town which has a well presented castle, was highly worthwhile. All in all this was a memorable visit for two Canadian seniors which we would love to repeat some day.

Room Tip: We rented both available bed rooms and found each to be spacious and comfortable with a lovely view.

We stayed here recently as we were attending a wedding at nearby delbury hall. It was a fantastic location for the wedding- only 10 minutes away by car. And Arnold even provided a taxi service for us there and back from the wedding. They have done a lovely job transforming the house back to its original splendour and our bed was extremely comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent and just what we needed after the wedding! Arnold gave some great recommendations of where to explore the next day.

Delightful hosts in Arnold and Suzanne, they could not have been kinder to me on my first visit. Their dogs made my terrier pooch welcome, the bed was so comfortable after a long drive and this place is an all round gem of a find. I will be returning and recommend the hospitality of Pool Cottage to anyone looking for a quiet rural retreat.

Room Tip: Either double or twin room is delightful - home from home if you like antiques and traditional style...
