Ate here twice during our recent holiday in the area. The first time we had salmon fish cakes which were very nice, well cooked and seasoned. On the strength of this we though they would probably do a good breakfast. They don't, it's just average and their Gloucester Old Spot sausages are dreadful. The food wasn't particularly hot and the service is a bit slow.

We ate more Full Breakfasts than we should during our recent holiday in Shropshire.
This was due to how fresh the home grown and reared foods are.
Surprised to see negative reviews about the service.
We found the staff lovely and happy to help.
This place is a real gem and would highly recommend the Full english&sourdough toast.
Coffee is lovely and cannot wait to go again when we return to lovely Shropshire.

We met relatives at The Ludlow Kitchen for lunch. The food was excellent - wonderful cold platters, salads and one of the best bacon burger and chips I'd had in ages. The staff were very pleasant and friendly but seemed to lack organisation and sense of urgency (however, in their defence I should point out that it was lunchtime and was busy).

After shopping in the wonderful Ludlow Food Centre we went back to have a cup of tea and a cake. The cakes were excellent as was the tea but it did take much longer to arrive than the cakes.

These problems are minor and we will definitely be eating there again when we're in the area.

Lovely cup of coffee, and the teacakes were large and full of fruit (obviously home made). So it was a pity they had only been toasted on one side. The waitress didn't check to see if all was okay and didn't comment when I left half of mine. Spoiled what could have been a delicious snack.

Loved the cheese and deli counter which had a great choice.
The meat was beautifully presented and looked very fresh.
There was plenty of choice of fruit and vegetables and lots of different ciders.
