This Guest House is very comfortable, smart and clean. I stayed here just before Christmas and so was thankful for the warmth, both temperature wise and the welcome. My double room (occupied as a single) was well furnished with a large excellent en-suite. Slept well in a most comfortable bed. The atmosphere at breakfast was relaxed and most guests happily chatted across the room. Service was friendly and quick, with the food freshly cooked and tasty. I recommend the brown bread toast which was definitely not the "run of the mill". Honey was local but the jam/marmalades were the usual commercial single-portions which was a little disappointing given the effort made to promote local produce. Very convenient for the train station. Another plus point was the genuinely customer focussed young lass who cleaned my room, she was polite, friendly and seemed a natural at making you feel a valued guest. Will definitely try and stay here again when next visiting Ludlow.

What a lovely b&b. Lovely owners. Fabulous rooms and beautiful breakfast! We stopped here to visit la becasse as it was within walking distance. Don't bother with la becasse but this b&b is perfect for exploring ludlow. Everything clean and a bit more like a hotel than a b&b. Thanks for a lovely stay. X

Our first, which we hope to repeat, visit to this Guest House. Everything was how you would hope it to be; lovely welcome, great room, excellent breakfast. What more can we say. Would thoroughly recommend. Oh and Ludlow was pretty good too!!

We stayed at The Mount again for the Ludlow Food Festival. We cannot fault it. The room was very well appointed, clean spacious with everything you need. Excellent breakfast and a very warm welcome from Ray and Sue. Very highly recommended. We have booked again for next year.

Room Tip: Room 4 on the second floor is extremely comfortable, nice ensuite and is next to the lounge with panoramic views over the countryside.

We stayed here for a couple of nights recently. It is well located, a short walk (5 minutes) from the town centre. Our room, at the back with a lovely view, was fairly spacious, clean and well kept. My only negative comment (sorry - as it is a lovely place to stay) is that the bed wasn't very comfortable, I think it would be worth the investment to replace it. Otherwise, the breakfasts are lovely, hot and very tasty and the proprietor, Ray, was very helpful and friendly.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back have a good view of the countryside
