We have just returned from a 2 day break at this hotel . We had room no1 , though it has its own outside entrance it was no problem. We had good weather! There is a brolly in the room. The bath room had a wet room with bars at the loo and shower great for disabled. I am recovering from a complicated hip op. there is plenty of room to use a wheelchair. The bed was very comfortable. The food was fantastic , fine dinning in the dining room .We ate in the dining room on the first night and as the menu hadn't changed we had a bar meal on the second night , just as good. Though I had a couple of issues this was discussed in a polite and satisfactory manor. This is a good place to stay if visiting NT properties who are also helpful to the disabled. All in all a wonderful couple of days.

Room Tip: As I didn't see ant other rooms I can't give tips . Maybe you should try them all ? !

This was our first trip away with our 5-week-old and having been a bit nervous about taking him to a hotel we were delighted with how accommodating and helpful everyone was at Fishmore Hall.

The hotel itself has clearly been refurbished relatively recently and all the fixtures/fittings are of good standard. Breakfast was really excellent. I booked my wife in for a surprise spa treatment - reports (no husbands allowed...) were glowing and again, they were exceptionally accommodating of our needs given the little tyke's need for feeding.

The location is lovely too - overlooking fields of cows on the outskirts of Ludlow.

All of this was excellent, but truly the best thing was the quality of the staff. From the help with all our luggage (how does our son have three times as much as us?) to setting up a space for an impromptu meeting for me. Ice on demand and delicious homemade biscuits at seemingly every turn.

Excellent stay. Excellent hotel. Haven't been this impressed since we were in the Maldives...

Room Tip: We asked for the room - #25 - which would disturb other guests least if our baby was crying through...

Just outside Ludlow - a 3 minute drive at most, this 'boutique' hotel is beautifully maintained and every detail is well thought out. Rooms, facilities, service and location make this a great place for a romantic weekend. The restaurant has a good reputation, the only possible downside is the cost of meals. £16.95 p.p. for breakfast and £60 p.p. for the tasting menu plus £29 p.p. for accompanying wines - so unfortunately, on this visit, neither were sampled.

Room Tip: Room 10 is a small double with 2 singles set as a kingsized bed. It has a super chic pebble floored...

Visited here for a 2 day break. Amazing staff! Was welcomed by a very lovely polite receptionist. The room was brilliant very clean and the new mini bar is an added bonus! Went to dine in the restaurant the first night and the food and staff were brilliant!! Service was spot on couldn't ask for more. Breakfast was a little wait but worth it. Wide variety and local produce. We used the spa while we stayed and the staff sorted it all out no bumps, the massage was very good and again very pleasant staff there too. If i had read the past reviews i would not of visited however i am so glad i didn't listen best service and made to feel at home! Would highly recommend!

We came to Fishmore Hall through a LivingSocial voucher, and I'm so glad we did. We don't drive, so we're looking for a place easily accessible from the train station. Fishmore Hall is a lovely 20min walk from the station in the town centre, very peaceful and rural.

The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Fishmore Hall clearly hold themselves to high standards, which is reflected in the service and the environment. The decor is smart and luxurious, and with a peaceful, relaxed vibe.

We stayed in room 10 - v comfy bed, nice shower room, lovely facilities. It was v warm our whole stay (no air-con), but we were provided a room fan when we asked.

The food was superb. Breakfast was always delicious (the mackerel and the kipper especially!). I wasn't well to begin with, and for dinner the chef kindly provided a different choice of soup on the second night, so that I didn't have the same thing twice in a row.

We are looking forward to returning, and to giving the a la carte or tasting menu a try. And the spa :)

Had a mid week DBB offer. Lovely room, free parking, clean. We chose it because of the 3 AA rosette award for the restaurant. The food was good but found the choice limited so opted for the bar menu on the second night, which was great. The service is friendly with lots of staff around, but slightly disfunctional on occasions, it doesn't exactly run like clockwork. Quite a few major mistakes but we didn't let it spoil our stay. I found the bed very hard and couldn't sleep through the noise from the road as I like the window open, window closed-no noise. Husband slept like a log.
Would recommend it, but be prepared to wait for most things.
