“Well worth the money day out”
Reviewed 5 April 2010

with four kids ranging from 3 to 18 it can be difficult to find a day out that pleases all of them as well as the adults. Hawkstone Park pleased us all, with a fun, adventurous, outdoor four hours of exploring a hillside in shropshire. £20 for a family of four we found this to be one of the rare value for money days out. Not so suitable for smaller children that dont like to walk as you cant take the pushchair , so be prepared to carry up and down a few steep sections. The effort is worth it to explore a labyrinth of hill side caves and the odd tunnel (take a torch). The cafe back down in the valley served hot soup with warm bread and the usual sandwiches and was a welcome treat at the end of the walking. We will definitely go back.
