We stood waiting for 15 minutes without any kind of response and then eventually yes what would you like then another long wait for what was quite disappointing food

Haughmond Hill is a local beauty spot and well worth the visit for people who like walking. It is not a hike, but a pleasant short walk with some excellent views over the Shropshire Countryside. Apparently there is now one bone of contention and that is the recently introduced parking fees

Just went there yesterday with a friend before lunch. Only been there once before on an organised walk.

It was only £1 to park, which may have stopped some of the dog walkers. Some dog poo around but not enough to spoil the visit.

Toilets and a small cafe there at the car park.

Nice easy paths to follow and superb views over Shrewsbury at the top. A lovely place to spend a few hours.

Went for a walk with my friend daughter and doggie. There was something for all of us to enjoy. Beautiful grounds for walking, plenty for doggie to sniff and explore. The little café at the end of our walk served tasty snacks and cakes! the woodburner kept us all warm and doggie was welcome too.

This should obviously be fabulous in that the walks are great & the views amazing but we found ourselves constantly having to avoid dog dirt...never acceptable!!
