Visited the Falconry Centre then went to the small exhibition. There is a lovely shop with local produce where we purchase local honey and biscuits! we then had lunch in the Cafe which was very nice and reasonably priced.

We get meat from here regularly as a bit of a treat - it's certainly not cheap but it is excellent. In addition, we have had our Christmas three-bird-roast from here for three years running, and it's GREAT. Also, the shop sells some quirky 'artisan' foods - a while ago I found some Turkish Delight flavoured ice cream which was pretty special :)

Visiting a battlefield is the kind of suggestion that usually sends my family running as visiting an empty piece of countryside is not for most people. However the free museum was very interesting - the model of the future Henry V with an arrow in his face made my 10 year olds day! The farm shop and cafe were both excellent - nice to be able to support local producers. (Some good books about the battle in the shop) The walk round the battlefield and a visit to one of the very few battlefield churches in the country was very moving. Worth a visit if you're in that part of the world.

i like it here it is a good place to have hotdogs. Years ago we heard a service going on in the church and singing on a sunday evening we told our children to be quiet and I peeped through the keyhole spooky the church was in darkness and no one there but we heard this all of us. The church is intresting to look at.
